Juniors Winter Camp

Step into the realm of fun and learning at the Rose City Rollers Derby Winter Camp! This Winter, entrust your skaters to us for an unforgettable experience, where they will enhance their derby skills amidst a vibrant community of fellow skaters!

Within this camp, your skater will transition between awesome skating sessions and engaging in off-skate craft activities.

Anticipate presence of skaters from our after-school programs and esteemed league members! To ensure an optimum skating experience, we will thoughtfully group skaters together tailoring to their skill levels.

Scholarships are available upon request with limited availability. Please email scholarships@rosecityrollers.com for details on how to apply.

**Participants will be able to onboard with the league at our next orientation, if they so choose. Orientation date Jan 8th

Who is this program for?

  • Skaters aged 7-13 and are
    • Able to stand on skates unassisted. 
    • Get up from a fall without help. 
  • Skater must be fully vaccinated against covid-19

When: Monday 12/18 - Friday 12/22 9am-3pm daily

Where: The Hangar @ Oaks Park 

How much:

$275 - non-members

$200 - members of RCR

What you'll need:

  • Skates, Pads, HelmetDon't have your own? No sweat! Our gear lending library has you covered and loaners are included in your reservation for the program - just make sure to fill out your gear section of the registration.  Have your own? Even better! You'll need a low boot (like the ones pictured above. High boot or in-line skates won't work. Helmet should be rated for multi-impact. A bike helmet is not suitable for derby.
  • Mouthguard - Sisu is our preferred brand because it can be remolded, other options are available at sporting goods stores or skate shops.
  • Water bottle - hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
  • Lunch - Please plan to pack a lunch for your skater.
What we will provide:
  • Gear - We will provide all necessary gear if needed.
  • Snacks - We'll make sure the skaters are fed and having fun.
