The Rose City Rollers are hosting a recruiting event for Officiating and Volunteer Safety Staff (medic assistants) on Saturday January 29th at 12:30PM.
We're hosting this Open House event at The Hanger at Oaks Amusement Park, with a live derby scrimmage staring at 3pm you are welcome to watch! There's no better way to learn about all of the exciting positions available than to see them in action, and to dive in yourself.
Opportunities in Officiating (We need Skating Refs, Score Keeping, Penalty Box Timers... and more!):
Our amazing team of officials are recruiting for all positions. This includes the on-skates and off-skates roles. We welcome everyone, from those that want to blow the whistle, to those that want to flex their skills with a stopwatch, all skills and no skills - we will teach you! All Volunteers get into games for free, and earn points in the volunteer system for free game tix and Merch.
Opportunities in Safety:
On a good night, we have a boring job for you, standing watch as part of our medical team. When needed, however, you can be a literal life-saver for our community!
We are looking for people that are trained OR are in training to become healthcare professionals, EMTs, Athletic Trainers, Physicians Assistants interested in training to assist our paid and insured 1st chair medics, Katie and Kayla, in assessing trackside care during our exciting games. These valuable folx ALWAYS get a free ticket for themselves and a guest.

Everyone is welcome. As we are getting ever closer to returning to live play, we need to begin training for all officiating and safety positions across our adult and junior skating programs.
