This is one of the largest expos that Rose City Rollers attends. It is on Saturday, March 2 from 10-5. We will need volunteers from 9:30am - 5:30 to make sure that our booth is set up nicely and that we have everything taken down at the end of the night.
This expo is an opportunity to talk with people who haven't heard about derby, know about it but are unsure of how to join or volunteer. This will also be a time for us to discuss upcoming events (Summer Camp, Derby Daze, upcoming bouts), as well as our need for a new venue.
The event is at the Oregon Convention Center. It holds space for so many different vendors. As a volunteer you will get in for free and be able to spend some time looking at what the expo has to offer.
The shifts will be three hours or so, but please feel free to message me if you need a different time frame. Another exciting fact about this event is that we are able to be on our skates!
Meg, Kathryn and I have been working together to get some of our handouts updated and have new scratch-offs made up before the event. We hope you are able to join us in this event and make it our best one yet.
